Jo runs a variety of scheduled classes at different locations, listed below. The majority are located at either the Centre for Sport and Exercise, Pleasance or at Dance Base. The classes at Heriot Row are temporarily suspended.

Jo also runs classes for hen parties, and other groups.

MONDAY

Core Tone 12:10-12:55 (Centre for Sport & Exercise, Pleasance)

With the emphasis on core muscles, this class will focus on improving posture, balance and strength endurance of the abdominals, back and legs. All Levels.

Jazz Turn Up & Dance 6-7pm (Dance Base)

Wannabe pop idols take serious note: here’s the best jazz class for your ongoing development as a dancefloor diva/god! All Levels.

Cardio Street Funk 7:15-8:15pm (Centre for Sport & Exercise, Pleasance)

A high energy dance based class, packed with funky modern routines guaranteed to get your heart pumping to the beat of the tunes! All Levels.

TUESDAY

Body Circuits 5:30-6:15pm (Centre for Sport & Exercise, Pleasance)

A great, fun and high-energy class, which can be enjoyed by all. Graded options at each station allow you to work at your own level and structured format assures fitness gains. All Levels.

Dance Mix 6:30-7:15pm (Centre for Sport & Exercise, Pleasance)

Designed for dancers with some experience, this class focuses on slick, satisfying choreography, exploring a number of different dance styles. Intermediate Level.

THURSDAY

Strength & Tone 12:40-13:30 (Centre for Sport & Exercise, Pleasance)

This is a muscle conditioning and toning programme using free weights and body exercises - great fun, with the emphasis on correct technique, progressive development and intensity. All Levels.

FRIDAY

Jazz Absolute Beginners 6-7pm (Dance Base)

A fresh approach to dance which is a little bit of hip hop, a little bit of jazz, and lots of fun. Wear comfortable clothing with indoor trainers or jazz shoes. No Experience.

Jazz Beginners 7-8pm (Dance Base)

A fresh approach to dance which is a little bit of hip hop, a little bit of jazz, and lots of fun. Wear comfortable clothing with indoor trainers or jazz shoes. Two terms experience.

Jazz Intermediate 8-9:30pm (Dance Base)

A fresh approach to dance which is a little bit of hip hop, a little bit of jazz, and lots of fun. Wear comfortable clothing with indoor trainers or jazz shoes. Two years experience.

Booking Classes

Dance Base Term classes, bookings open 5th Dec at 10am, books out VERY quickly so get in early. Can do in person/online/tel. Term starts 4th Jan- 28th March.
